The feature-packed Vigilon analogue addressable fire detection and alarm system from Honeywell Gent offers medium to large sized building owners the latest in system flexibility and control panel aesthetics. Vigilon offers a degree of system sophistication that has not previously been available and incorporates a host of features designed to make it the simplest system to install, configure and use.
The Vigilon Plus range of control panels are available in 4 loop and 6 loop versions. The 4 loop Vigilon has a self contained power supply and battery standby for at least 24 hours and the 6 loop with external batteries will support a system for 72hrs in the event of a mains power failure.
Certified to EN54 parts 2 and 4 Vigilon may be supplied with or without an on-board printer and has a full Qwerty style keyboard allowing full control and management of the system from the panel if required.
Nano is a single loop, analogue addressable control panel that can accommodate up to 127 devices.
The panel controls a wide range of loop powered devices along with the benefits of the powered Vigilon loop. The devices it controls includes the latest S-Quad & S-Cubed range of sensors, sounders and sensor sounders. Certified to EN 54 parts 2 & 4 the standard panel is self contained with batteries to maintain 24-hour standby.
A one or two loop panel accommodating up to 200 devices per loop, with the capability of networking with other Compact Plus or Vigilon Plus Panels.
Multiple panel networks can be programmed seamlessly as one system, allowing for flexible design and total system management.
All devices are connected by the loop, delivering a flexible, streamlined system in any type of building. Requiring just a single two-core cable to connect the loop, every device includes an integral short circuit isolator to reduce installation cost and increase system integrity.
S-Quad leads the industry in fire sensing technology. A complete range of devices sensors with a unique combination of sensing elements.
S-Quad’s inherent flexibility means it can be programmed to suit specific site applications. Different sensitivity states are set to incorporate combinations of optical, dual optical, heat and CO sensing elements. States can be selected depending on the different conditions in a room or a time period when interference may be more likely.
Honeywell Gent’s low-current S-Cubed range incorporates a sounder, voice sounder and an EN54-23 certified visual alarm in one device. Advanced loop powered technology means that S-Cubed is the most efficient loop powered sounder in the industry where a whole loop of sounders could be powered without the need for additional power supplies.
Manual call points for the Vigilon system are easy to install and may be mounted on standard installation back boxes or bespoke red back boxes for surface mounting.
Every manual call point is continuously monitored ensuring a trigger is responded to in less than three seconds system wide.
The range includes options for glass and resettable elements and lift-up protective covers. A keyswitch version is also available for areas where tampering or vandalism is expected.
An IP67 is also available.
A range of interface units are available to connect the fire detection system with other detection equipment or to control plant and fire protection equipment such as conventional detection zones, sprinklers and fire dampers or door release units
Designed to provide heavy duty relay switching for both 24V and 230V applications with contacts rated at 13A. This interface is particularly suitable for switching damper control units and other building controls requiring a high contact rating for mains shutdown.
The new single channel interface is a direct replacement for the existing 34415 Mains Switching Interface. The 4 channel interface is a new addition to the Vigilon Interface range. Both variants offer extended functionality.
The range includes single channel, four-channel and key-operated interfaces that are loop powered as well as a mains switching unit that may be mounted in bespoke enclosures or DIN rail mounted.
A range of mains powered interfaces is included in the range that may be used for managing plant that needs a fail safe EN54 part 4 power supply such as door management systems. These may also be installed in compliance with BS7273 part 4.
All interfaces are compliant with EN54 parts 17 and 18.
The Vigilon Mains Powered Interface allows you to connect to ancillary units which can not be integrated directly onto the Vigilon loop
